Friday Foxes

Friday 12/18

The plan is to meet by the baseball dugout behind the school at 3:40. Last week we did some dryland, sharks and minnows, and a great game of soccer. Also, Eric Barker and Seth Friedman lead a walk through the woods to familiarize parents and kids with the trail network.  We will do more of the same this Friday and will add in hot chocolate once it gets cold enough!

Coach Rosemary’s Tip of the Week:  Do your kids ever forget to pack their gloves, or ski boots or…?  There is a lot of gear to pack everyday they go to practice.  Post a list of what they need to pack for practice on their cubby (or where ever they will see it- pinned to their gear bag is another good spot) and they may forget things less often. Here is the list I use, but you can customize it to suit your child’s needs.

Pack for Ski Practice:

Ski Boots

Ski Gloves

Hat

Ski Socks

Base Layer Top & Bottom

Ski pants/tights

Fleece

Wind Jacket

Buff

Extra shirt (for after practice)

Water

Snack
