We will ski at Craftsbury Outdoor Center, 10-11:30. Skate. Bring rock skis (if you have them) and good skis. E-mail Rosemary (sheacobb19@gmail.com) with any questions.
Thursday’s BKL Practice (12/08)- Venue Change!
We will hold Thursday’s practice on skate skis at Mill River Park. The expansive fields there have adequate cover and conditions will be similar to what we found at the Range in the fields on Tuesday. Bring Skate ski equipment. There are port-a-potties at Mill River Park, but no warming hut. Temps should be around 35ish. We will meet at the gazebo.
Directions: Mill River Park is located on Rte. 15 in Jericho on the south side of the road just before the intersection of Rte. 15 and River Rd. (across from “Jolley’s” ).
Range Snow Report 12/6
Remember: Masters and Junior training can be found on their respective Google Docs!
As of this morning, trails have been groomed initially but it is requested that we not ski. This directly from Range Control:
All,
The trails at CEATS will be closed this week (and weekend) as we try to get our snow base groomed in. Crews are working with some man made and snow natural snow now and should hopefully have something worth skiing on by next week. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
SFC Jared LeBlanc
UPDATE: BKL 2-day, 3-day and DEVO- Bring Rock Skis!
In addition to all the other things I asked you to bring, wear your ski boots and bring any rock skis you have- preferably skate, but classic no-wax are fine too. FYI- Rock skis are old skis that you won’t mind getting scratched up.
There is snow at the Range, but they are not able to groom it because they feel their grooming machine will go right through to the pavement. So, we’ll pack it down by skiing and we can play games on skis in the fields.
Wax clinic is still on and we will do that first.
MNC “Remind” App: This year’s edition
Hello all MNC members and families,
For the second year, we will be utilizing the “Remind” app system for members interested in up-to-the-minute news on snow conditions, weather warnings, and practice cancellations. Our webpage blogs and Google Docs (Juniors and Masters) will still be primary avenues for communication, but for those interested in utilizing Remind services our coaches will make an effort to convey info here as well.
What is Remind?
