Join the Mansfield Nordic Club this summer and train in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains! Mansfield Nordic is one of the largest and most diverse ski clubs in New England, and opportunities for great training abound. Join some of the nation’s top Juniors and connect with other collegiate skiers for weekly sessions rollerskiing, trail running, bounding, mountain and road biking, strength work and more!
-Program schedule runs concurrent to MNC Junior summer programming: June 20th – August 20th
‐The main hub of Mansfield Nordic training is the Ethan Allen Range in Jericho, Vermont, about 25 minutes from Burlington. Faster Skier Article about the Range.
‐Most rollerski sessions will take place on the Range’s world class and challenging, hilly and well‐paved 5.5‐kilometer rollerski loop. Other training (including some rollerski sessions) will take place in and around the Chittenden County area, usually within 20‐30 minutes of Burlington.
‐Athletes in Mansfield Nordic’s Summer Collegiate Training Group (CTG) will typically train with the MNC Competition Team, with most sessions occurring in the morning. Afternoon/evening sessions may also be scheduled depending on group needs.
‐Housing and employment are the responsibility of CTG athletes: good options for both can be found in and around the Burlington area. The potential for housing/renting with a MNC host‐family exists and can be discussed as spring progresses.
The CTG program costs $549 for the 5-day program, $249 for 2-day (Tues/Thurs)
