A rollercoaster of emotions will be the story of this US Nationals trip, but right now I wanted to share some phenomenal news as well as updates on where everyone can follow along with the action.
Yesterday was the freestyle sprint, where Ava Thurston laid down an incredible 4th place overall in qualifying. This is not 4th place for Juniors, or 4th place for club teams…this is 4th place in the entire country.
US Nationals Freestyle Sprint Qualifier Results
With a 4th place finish in her heat, that ultimately led to an awesome 17th place overall in the first race of the series. A great start!

Just missing out on the Junior heats were Emma Page and Virginia Cobb, who still laid down excellent qualifiers. It was a good day in the Junior heats for EMXC racers Sophia Scirica and Evie Walton, who we are teaming up with at this event.
