Here are some photos of yesterdays’s race in Crafstbury. Thanks to all of you that helped and participated! More pics to follow.
Junior Training 1/20 – 2/2
Another blast of bitter cold weather mid-week… training on Tuesday and Thursday will be shorter than normal, but I am NOT planning to cancel training.
Tuesday = classic with specific strength & technique at the Range, 4:00-5:30pm.
Wednesday = Steady state skate ski @ Sleepy, 4-5:30pm.
Thursday = classic with speed at the Range, 4:00-5:30pm.
Sunday = Skate ski, tentatively at Trapp’s, 10:00-noon.
Tentative plan for 1/27 – 2/2:
Tuesday = Skate with Sp.Str. and intervals at the Range, 4-6.
Wednesday = Steady-state skate ski at Sleepy, 4:00-6:00pm.
Thursday = Classic with speed and specific strength at the Range, 4:00-6:00pm.
Saturday = Eastern Cup @ Trapp’s. Sprint classic.
Sunday = Eastern Cup @ Trapp’s. 5-5-10-10km Free.
BK and Masters 1/20-1/26
It’s going to be on the cold side this week so please be prepared. With a deep base of man-made snow and now some new powder on top, conditions at the range will be excellent.

MNC BK Race date and venue change
The MNC BK Duathlon has been rescheduled and relocated.
The race will be held at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center on Monday 1/20/14. This will ensure that we have adequate snow coverage and minimal conflict with other races. We hope that everyone will still be able to join us for this exciting event. Click on the link below for an updated race flyer. MNC coaches and Parent Volunteers will be there to help with kick waxing. We will send out a wax recommendation on Saturday.
The UVM Fun Day scheduled for 1/20 has been canceled since there is no snow at Bolton. We will work with the UVM Team to find a day later in the season to ski with our BK Team. For now we wish them well in the upcoming NCAA Carnivals!!
