Adam is MNC Executive Director and head coach for all Junior programs. Adam spent three years coaching the St. Lawrence University ski team and during that time also worked as coach, wax tech and support at the high school, Eastern HS and Junior National level.
Adam holds USSA Level 200 and NENSA Level 1 coaching certifications, and is enthusiastic about the sport no matter the season. Coach Adam skied for CVU and competed for the New England JN team before going on to become a 4-year member and captain of the Nordic team at St. Lawrence.

An MNC alum, Pete is a former VT State Champion who went on to a standout racing career at UVM.
After graduating in 2013, Pete raced professionally for 2 years as a member of the Craftsbury Green Racing Project.
Many know Pete as part of the most widely-recognized Nordic families in Vermont!
We all know Christa as the local Jericho Settler’s Farm owner, but she is also a long time MNC masters coach and former Williams College skier.
Christa has a knack for helping people develop a feel for the body position and balance needed to improve technique, and she makes it fun! Two children and the year-round farm business keep Christa and husband Mark hopping 24/7!
Dennis is a Physical Therapy Assistant at Dee PT, the summer home of MNC strength training. With his wealth of experience on the subject, Dennis helps coordinate and monitor our training at this facility, including Junior training in the Summer/Fall and Masters training in the fall
Dennis is also a skier himself, coaching ski groups at Trapp Family Lodge in the winter and enjoying racing and training in endurance events around the region.
A familiar name to MNC members, Rick was a long time coach with NYSEF & staffer at the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Olympic Trails in Lake Placid before joining Mansfield Nordic in 2011.
Rick has stepped back from daily club activities and leadership roles with BKL and Masters skiers, but you are likely to see Rick involved in some club adventures and ski events including leading Masters Rollerskis and tours in the winter!
Leigh is an institution in nordic skiing in Vermont… he coached for 30 years at Colchester High School, where they won 5 state championships and was head coach of the Vermont teams at the Eastern High School and J2 championships.
While he coached a future Olympian, he more frequently coached kids new to skiing so he knows how to adapt his coaching to all levels.
Leigh has attended several National Coaching Seminars and was a Level II certified ski coach. He is an avid master racer and backcountry skier and volunteers for Vermont Adaptive Ski Program. He & Joanie have two children, both ski coaches.
