Junior Pre-Season Training

Join us for our pre-season training, designed to help you build your ski technique and strength before the snow flies! Training takes place 4 days per week (Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun). Tuesday and Thursday training is at the Range where we rollerski on paved & lighted rollerski trails!

OPENING SESSION: Tuesday, October 28
CLOSING SESSION: Saturday, November 23

Sample training week:

Tuesdays: 4:00-6:00pm at the Range. Rollerskiing and strength.
Thursdays
: 4:00-6:00pm at the Range. Rollerskiing and strength.
Saturdays: 10:00-noon at various locations. Time trials or intervals.
Sundays: 10:00- noon at various locations. Distance rollerskiing.
Plus: Time-trials with the Central VT Nordic Co-op (GMVS, Frost Mtn Nordic) and training with our Celebrity Guest Coaches which have included the likes of Olympian Garrott Kuzzy and national champion Jennie Bender as well as many other local legends and elite athletes.

Training Highlights:

  • classic and skate technique training and analysis
  • distance and interval training to build stamina
  • strength and circuit training
  • power and speed training
