DESCRIPTION:*Friday Update:  This week we have some snow! We are hoping to do a little skiing around on the soccer fields. But conditions might change through the day as things warm up. Bring sneakers and ski equipment (no wax classic or rock skis if you’ve got ’em) and coaches will let you know we’re going to do. \nWe’ll play games\, hike\, do some dryland ski practice and get outside for some exercise. It’s a great chance to meet coaches\, other skiers and parents. These days are for parents and kids. SUMMARY:Junior Thanksgiving Camp 2025
DESCRIPTION:Join MNC for a week of on-snow skiing at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center from November 25 – 30th. \nKick off winter with team time\, technique work\, group intensity sessions\, and what is often the first groomed skiing of the new season. \n \n  \nBeginning Tuesday\, November 25th our group meets up at Craftsbury where snow has been stored since last winter. \nThe groomers and crew at the center put in an amazing effort to truck all that snow out for us to ski on during the week. We often share the loop with EISA college teams like Williams\, UNH\, UVM\, and Harvard\, as well as fellow NENSA clubs like EMXC. We train for 6 days/5 nights\, equal to a full typical training week (Tues – Sun). \nWe do a lot of skiing\, but also make space for strength sessions in the indoor gym\, movies and presentations in the big basement room in Cedar Lodge\, team activities and games\, and usually wake up early to watch the first World Cup of the season live from Finland! \nCamp cost is $749 and includes: \n\nCoaching compensation and overhead\nLodging for 6 days/5 nights at Craftsbury Outdoor Center\nAll daily meals at the Craftsbury dining hall\nGroup Thanksgiving Dinner put on by Craftsbury \nTrail passes for the week of skiing\nIndoor gym access for strength sessions\nEntry in end-of-week timetrial\nWax and tools for training sessions\n2025 version of camp interval t-shirt\nCamp training gear from Toko\n\nRegistration is available at the link below. Our camp will be full at 14 athletes\, but skiers may be added to a waiting list! \nThanksgiving Camp 2025

SUMMARY:Coaches Clinic / Masters Ski Day @ Craftsbury
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, November 30th for a ski day in Craftsbury! \nThanksgiving Camp for the Juniors will have just finished-up\, so the team trailer will be on-site for skiers to have some kickwaxing assistance for classic (skating is welcome too!). \nCoaches Clinic \nCoaches of all programs (BKL\, Juniors\, Masters) are encouraged to meet at the trailer at 2pm to meet with Coach Adam and Coach Liz to spend some time reviewing drills\, activities\, goals\, and more! \nMasters Ski \nMasters are encouraged to meet in the lower field at 2pm for a group ski! A bench will be set up for some kickwax help if classic skiing\, and skate skiing is of course welcome too! \nOne way or another\, it’s likely we’ll all end up spending some time getting to meet and ski with fellow club members! Don’t forget either a Craftsbury day pass\, or make sure to purchase your season pass for 25/26.
