DESCRIPTION:Bring the entire family to this MNC signature event.   Racing is available for all age groups at a new the local venue this season and the addition of an adult 5k “try it” race. \nLocation this Season:  Sleepy Hollow 427 Ski Lodge Dr. Huntington\, VT\nRegistration: https://www.skireg.com/mncskiathlon\nRace Format \n\n\n\n\n\nClassic/Freestyle Skiathlon: Skiers switch from classic to freestyle skis mid-race. \n** New** single technique 5K “try it” option for those adults new to racing.  Racers can choose technique and do 5k of racing on the Skate portion of course ahead of the main field. \n\n\nSchedule of Events\nMen and Women U16 and older \n9:30-10:30am     Registration\n10:45am              5 km “Try It” Freestyle Race (choice of technique on skate loop)\n11:00am              Men’s  7 km classic + 7km freestyles\n11:15am              Women’s  7 km classic + 7km freestyles\n12:30pm             Age-Class Podiums \nCustom mugs to top three finishers in each full skiathlon age class! \nBKL\n10:30- 12:30am BKL Registration Opens (Round Barn)\n1:00pm                Lollipop 0.5k\n1:15pm                Grades 1/2 1k CL only\n1:45pm                Grades 3/4 1k CL + 1k FS\n2:15pm                Grades 5/6 1.5k CL + 1.5k FS\n2:45pm               Grades 7/8 2k CL + 2k FS\n3:15pm                BKL Ribbons for all skiers (Round Barn)\n3:30– Snacks and Raffle! \nPlease Note:  Sleepy Hollow is a non fluorocarbon wax venue.  Paraffins only. \nSkiathlon Flyer \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
