NYSSRA uses the “U” age class system utilized by USSA. The “U” or “Under” replacing the “J” system for our competitive junior age groups. Age categories remain in two-year increments\, and the classifications are the same\, only the title changes. For example\, 18-19-year old’s are now U20 (formerly OJ)\, 16-17 year old’s are U18 (formerly J1)\, and so on. Skiers must compete in Sunday’s Final to be eligible \nRegistration: for the NYSSRA Nordic/ESWG TourNADO is available at the Empire State Winter Games web site.  One price and one registration covers all three cross country skiing races. www.empirestatewintergames.com \nDeadline for registering: 4 PM January 31\, 2018.  There will be no late or day of registrations. \nAwards: ESWG Medals will be awarded for both male and female in all USSA Age divisions beginning with U14 (age 12 as of Dec 31\, 2017.
