SUMMARY:White Mountain Classic 30 KM
DESCRIPTION:The White Mountain Classic 30K is part of the New England Marathon Series\, the NENSA Zak Cup & Club Series\, and the prestigious NENSA 1-Day Club Championships! This is a classic technique marathon utilizing the unique trail system in and around Jackson Village. The course includes Jackson’s FIS Homologated Course\, Wentworth Golf Course\, and Eagle Mtn. Fields. Entry includes food stations\, post-race meal\, awards and random prizes to both racers and tourers. All proceeds will benefit Junior Nordic Programs and the Foundation. IT’S ALL FOR THE KIDS! Touring Classes are untimed. All skiers 13 and under must tour with an adult. BIB PICKUP: Race HQ\, Jackson Ski Touring Foundation (JSTF)\, Jackson Village: – Friday 1/20 – 5:00-7:00 PM – Saturday 1/21 – 7:30-9:00 AM PARKING ON RACE DAY: Parking is available at Jackson Ski Touring Center. Additional parking at the Town Hall\, Grammar School\, and Town Office/new Library lot. The Jackson Ski Touring Center is located at 153 Main Street (Rte 16A) \, Jackson\, NH. SUMMARY:Eastern Cup #2.5: Lake Placid\, NY
DESCRIPTION:Why 2.5? This event is not technically a NENSA Eastern Cup\, but on Jan 21/22 NYSEF will be hosting the Harry Eldridge races in Lake Placid. Saturday’s race will count as a NENSA “Out-Of-Region” JNQ. This means that athletes will be able to score USSA points toward Junior Nationals qualification. Sunday’s race will not be scored for JN points\, but will be a great competition nonetheless. Depending on individual needs\, athletes may choose to race on Sunday as well as Saturday\, or get in a distance ski on the trails for Junior Nationals. \nThis is absolutely an event that needs to be on the radar of MNC juniors\, and it is for all intents and purposes an additional Eastern Cup race on the schedule. \nMNC has lodging available at one of the High Peaks houses (across the porch from last year’s house). We will go live with a Race Trip registration soon\, which includes all lodging and meals for athletes. Skiers will carpool to Lake Placid. \n \n  \nLAKE PLACID RACE TRIP REGISTRATION
