SUMMARY:MNC Family Yardsale (2nd Annual!)
DESCRIPTION:Join Mansfield Nordic in a fun event that combines spring cleaning\, fundraising and a fun community event! This yardsale will take place at the Longenbach house (118 Southridge Road in Williston) on June 4th as part of a larger\, community-wide sale. \nMNC families may donate goods to sell on Friday\, June 3 from 4pm to 7pm. Items will be sorted and priced for sale the next day\, and all proceeds will go toward the club! Volunteers to help sort and price items on Friday evening are welcome. \nThe main event will take place on Saturday\, June 4th from 9AM to 3PM\, when the big sale gets underway. NEW THIS YEAR will be a bake sale element…create your favorite treats to contribute! \nWe would like to encourage parents and skiers themselves to sign up to help in a variety of roles on Saturday: \n  \n-[NEW] Bake Sale goods/treats \n-Morning Customer Service (keeping items organized\, helping carry items to cars\, etc) \n-Afternoon Customer Service (keeping items organized\, helping carry items to cars\, etc) \n-Saturday clean-up (cleaning area after sale\, loading items to be disposed of\, etc) \n  \nSign up here: FAMILY YARDSALE SIGNUP (click) \nThe MNC tent and banner will be on-site…please feel free to stop by and enjoy the scene\, or even shop at the other sales at other sales in the neighborhood. \nAll unsold items will be donated to local charities\, or (for non-clothing items) responsibly disposed of by Adam after the event. \nWe hope you can join in and be a part of this event!

Activities: skate and classic rollerskiing\, running\, strength work in the GMVS Racing Performance Center\, agility & balance on foot\, and classroom sessions including video analysis. \nEndurance Camp: June 18-21 \nEndurance camp focuses on creating the endurance foundation that is necessary for a strong season of nordic racing. SUMMARY:Summer Kick-Off Bike Ride/Hike/Party
DESCRIPTION:A tradition continues: a bike ride up to the top of App Gap or a hike up Camel’s Hump\, followed by a gathering at the Solow/Henry house to kick off the summer training season. \nFor the activities \nBike Ride: Meet at Hinesburg Community School at 9AM for a 9:15 (SHARP) departure. There will be a group ride to the top of App Gap and back (40 miles)\, as well as a shorter ride around the Hinesburg/Charlotte area. \nHike: Coach Adam will lead a hike up Camel’s Hump via the Burrow’s Trail. This group will meet at Brewster Pierce school in Huntington at 8:20AM for an 8:30 departure. This hike is 4.2 miles total\, starting off gradual and becoming steep near the top. \nCoach Rosemary will lead a BKL hiking group\, and Coach Adam will lead a Juniors/Adult hiking group \nFor the potluck \n\nRSVP (yes or no) by Wed June 15 so Sharon  can plan for enough food/drinks with the number in your party (sharonhenry5149@gmail.com); \n\nBring a large dish to share (the athletes are REALLY hungry!) – green salads\, veggie salads\, roasted veggies\, appetizers\, tabouli salad\, quinoa salad\, etc.\, etc.\, etc. Sharon will supply sandwich meats\, bread\, wraps\, drinks and some desserts; There are also paper goods/cups/utensils (all leftover from the winter potlucks).\nPotluck starts ~12 – 12:30 pm – 209 Coyote Ridge Rd\, Hinesburg\, VT; 598-7072 is Sharon’s cell \nMNC cycling crew about to tackle App Gap and more
