DESCRIPTION:A great rollerski event at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center\, July 3rd! \nIncludes a less-challenging intermediate race with fewer descents\, and a learn-to-rollerski clinic at 1pm after the races conclude. \nRace Info and Registration \n \nSchedule: \n8:30AM – Bib pick up and day-of-race registration opens (if numbers allow); course opens for warmup \n9:25AM – Course closes to all racers. \n9:30AM – U16 races start. 1 skier every 30 seconds\, mixed gender. Two 3.3km figure 8 laps for a total of 5.6km. \n10:00AM – Open races start. 1 skier every 30 seconds\, mixed gender. \n11:15AM – Intermediate race (7.5km\, no outer loop) \n12:00PM – Podium ceremony \n1:00PM – NENSA Learn to Roll Clinic

DESCRIPTION:Join MNC for an introductory rollerski clinic focused on learning the basics of safety (turning\, slowing\, stopping\, climbing)\, equipment maintenance\, and road awareness. This clinic is not age-specific…if you’re a BKL skier who has never tried rollerskiing\, or a Masters skier who has always wanted to give it a go\, this is for you! \nWant to learn how to snowplow without the snow?  \nReady to see the fastest snow-to-rollerski pole tip changeover ever?  \nLooking to expand your off-season possibilities?  \nMNC will have a selection of rollerskis available to try (NNN/Prolink-compatible boots preferred) and it is recommended participants bring their personal boots and poles. Much of this intro clinic will be completed without poles\, and rollerski pole tips are recommended but not required. \nWe will meet in the Allen Brook School parking lot at 9am\, getting our feet/wheels under us on flat and open terrain before heading out to the nearby bike paths. \nOur favorite rollerski apparel is a bright\, visible shirt! \nThis event is FREE but donations are appreciated! \nRSVP for July 9 Clinic \nRenate\, Katie & Carloyn (akla WoW) \n
