DESCRIPTION:Toko Rep Dave Boucher will be on hand and will do a wax clinic during BKL practice for the kids and their parents. Older kids will learn how to hot wax their skis\, while younger kids will learn to apply kick wax. Dave will also be available to answer any questions you may have on wax products that you can order from Toko. In addition\, he is going to push back the deadline for Toko orders to Dec. 7 so that you can get info on products from him at the wax clinic.

DESCRIPTION:Last year on a dark winter evening\, a line of blazing tiki torches stretched from the gate of Smuggler’s Notch in Jeffersonville upward along the snowy road. With a trail illuminated by the bright flames\, MNC skiers turned a cold and snowy evening into a memorable experience…one we are looking to bring back even bigger and better this year! \nJoin us on Friday\, December 8th for the second-ever MNC Torchlight Notch Ski! We will have torches set up by nightfall. After the ski\, we invite participants to join us at the John house in Underhill for a winter gathering. \nWhat: MNC Torchlight Notch Ski \nWhere: Smuggler’s Notch\, Rt 108 in Jeffersonville\, VT. Torches will line the Jeffersonville side of the Notch\, though skiers are welcome to ski in from the Stowe side! Parking is available at the top of Rt 108 where the gate closes off the road. Additional parking may be found in the very upper lot of the Smuggler’s Notch ski resort. \nWhen: Friday\, December 8th at sunset (group ski departs at 5pm\, classic or skate!) \nAfter the ski: Join club members at the John family house for a campfire\, some light snacks\, and good company (BYOB\, 7-9pm). SUMMARY:Fort Kent EC Race Trip
DESCRIPTION:The first Eastern Cup of the season is set to take place in Fort Kent\, at the far northern end of Maine. MNC is offering a race trip to this event that includes all travel to/from Fort Kent\, plus lodging and meals. Please note that this race trip does not include race entry or wax support fees! \n\nIf attending\, please plan to miss a day of school on Friday\, December 15th\nFort Kent is a LONG trip and we’d like to leave as early as 7am in order to arrive with daylight to ski the course and get set-up for the weekend\nPlease bring schoolwork for a study hall on Saturday afternoon/evening (as well as the aforementioned long car ride)\nAlso\, please note that this trip will require travel through Canada\, and a passport/enhanced license is required!\n\nDue to vehicle/hotel space\, this trip is limited to 6 athletes. It is expected that all trip participants will stay at the team hotel and have meals with the Race Trip group. \nRace trip cost: $239 \nRegistration currently filled! \nClick the button above to register!
